Here is a romantic room with faux painted walls very light florals throughout and a black bed. You wouldn’t think to put a black bed in a soft and romantic bedroom like this , but here’s proof that being unexpected works Sometimes. I would never advise floral drapes like those, but the ending goal is sweet.
The little girls bedroom above has low saturated colors in blue, rose, and sage green. All the colors are soft and muted looking very innocent and dainty. Notice that the furniture does NOT MATCH. She has a rose mirror, a dusty green bed, and a white wardrobe. Something you’ll want to avoid is the horrid ruffles. 1990′s are back in the fashion world, but not the interior decor world.
I love love love gray and yellow. It’s so modern and delicious.
The great thing about this room is the branch hanging. I wouldnt choose the dated owl bedding; however. Steer clear of trends like this that go out faster than toilet paper.
